Faced with a shortage of suitable land for affordable housing, Millson Group structured the acquisition of a strategically located, privately owned site at the centre of the developable area. Working in partnership with Northern Housing, a comprehensive development strategy was created to integrate the client’s existing assets with the newly acquired land.
The team managed the full design and planning process, ensuring a sensitive, high-quality approach that maximised the site’s potential while meeting the client’s mission to deliver affordable housing. Careful coordination of layout, density, and building typologies allowed the development to provide both new housing and unlock the latent value of adjacent properties, supporting the overall viability of the scheme.
